November was another successful month for the Port of Green Bay.
A total of 159,536 tons of cargo came through the port last month, which is a 5% increase from November 2024.
There were six commodities that came in on 19 vessels, including limestone (51,501 tons), petroleum products (48,998 tons), cement (23,625 tons), salt (16,416 tons), wood pulp (12,918 tons), and liquid asphalt (6,078 tons).
The port started the season off slowly, with March and April tonnage 64% below the prior year; however, the tonnage has increased significantly since then, leaving the port in a strong position as the 2025 season approaches its final months.
Dean Haen, the Director of the Port of Green Bay, noted, “Each shipment supports supply chains, industrial activity, and jobs across the region, reinforcing the Port as a driver of economic growth and long-term stability for Northeastern Wisconsin.”
