A building at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay will be repaired after money was released by the Wisconsin State Building Commission.
Roof and plaza deck waterproofing repairs will be done at the university’s Instructional Services Building as part of the 2025-2027 Minor Facilities Renewal Program.
The program helps address maintenance needs across the UW’s statewide campuses.
The $185 million in total funding includes construction of a new Type 1 Juvenile Correctional Facility in Fitchburg, which will support the conversion of the Lincoln Hills School for Boys and Copper Lake School for Girls.
21 other maintenance and repair projects will take place across 13 counties, and multiple state agencies will receive infrastructure repairs.
State Senator Andre Jacque is one of six Wisconsin Legislative officials on the commission, along with Governor Tony Evers.
