The mayor of a town south of Milwaukee is under investigation for possible misconduct in office.
Fox 6 reports a search warrant accuses Mayor John Nelson of a “direct conflict of interest” and “misuse of city resources,” including using city funds for a marketing company to benefit Nelson.
The warrant details the marketing company managing Nelson’s Facebook page that investigators believe is tied to his mayoral political campaign.
Nelson has not been charged with any crimes.
