A recent fundraising effort in Sheboygan County proved to be a massive success in helping get kids a gift this holiday season.
The Culver’s Cares fundraiser, held on November 25th, helped raise thousands of dollars to benefit the annual Shop with a Cop event in Sheboygan County, with all four Culver’s locations in the county donating 10% of their sales from throughout the day.
On Tuesday (December 16th), the Culver’s Organization presented a check for $4,500 to Sheboygan County Sheriff Matt Spence and Deputy Jesse Smith, all of which will help benefit the annual program that allows children from the community to go Christmas shopping with local law enforcement.
Showing their gratitude to all of those who helped turn the Culver’s Cares fundraiser into another success, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office said, “Thank you to the Horkan Family, Culver’s Employees, the Community, and of course, our Public Service employees and partners, for your continued support of the Shop with a Cop Program.”
Sheboygan’s Culver’s locations on Highway 42, Taylor Drive, and Washington Avenue, along with the Oostburg location, all participated in donating proceeds to the Shop with a Cop event.
