Former UW-Manitowoc men’s basketball star, Jemale “Melo” Brown will continue his collegiate basketball career at NAIA Division 2 Waldorf University in Forest City, Iowa. After graduating from Milwaukee Madison High School, Brown played two seasons at UW-Manitowoc from 2015-2017. During that time, he became the school’s all-time leading scorer, earned First-team All-Conference honors twice, and led the Blue Devils to playoff wins in consecutive years. Brown completed his Associate of Arts and Science degree in Fall 2017, from UW-Manitowoc. Brown will receive a partial athletic scholarship and compete for the Waldorf Warriors under the direction of Head Coach Nigel Jenkins. Manitowoc native and current Waldorf Assistant Coach, Kyle Hoffman, played a critical role in the recruitment of Brown.
