There is just one governmental meeting on the docket today (December 17th) in the City of Sheboygan.
The City’s Historic Preservation Commission will meet at 4:00 p.m. inside the second-floor conference room at City Hall.
The group will begin with an introduction from Sheboygan Planning and Development Director Taylor Zeinert, who will share her vision for the City.
They will then hold a review of their work from the past year before discussing the Sheboygan Breakwater Lighthouse and the City’s interest in it, as it is now up for sale.
The Commission will then move into conversations regarding the Fountain Park Monument and Highland Terrace/North Neighborhood as historical landmarks before finishing with a discussion on signage for the old Armory site and vacancies on the Commission itself.
This will be the final meeting of 2025 for the Sheboygan Historic Preservation Commission.
