A crash in Fond du Lac resulted in an OWI arrest for a 59-year-old man.
The Fond du Lac Police Department reports that a 53-year-old man was driving north on South Seymour Street at around 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday when he was struck by a vehicle traveling east on Western Avenue, which failed to stop at a stop sign.
Fond du Lac Fire Rescue was called to extract the man from his vehicle and transport him to a local hospital for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 59-year-old man from Cascade, was arrested for his 6th OWI, Inattentive Driving, and Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign.
Neither man’s identity was released.
