A Manitowoc-based marketing information company is conducting a nationwide study on household use of outdoor power equipment.
Leede Research, which has offices throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota, has announced that the NextWave – Consumer Attitude Program will complete 1,200 interviews across the US in a balanced sampling process.
The study will gather information on consumer use of mowing, snow, and handheld tools like leaf blowers, string trimmers, and hedge trimmers.
There will be a focus on battery power conversion, robotic mowers, and smart home technology focused on outdoor power.
Leede is doing this program as an independent syndicated study that will be made available to the industry through a variety of sources.
Leede CEO Dean Halverson noted, “This study is designed to provide valuable information on how technology will drive change in the tools we use in our yards every week.”
