The Town of Two Rivers Fire Department has been given a new tool from the Masonic Lodge Number 65 of Manitowoc.
The lodge presented the department with a new fire suppression tool (FST) in memory of Masonic member and firefighter Bob Bornemann.
The FST is a non-pressurized device designed to rapidly suppress fires and protect lives and property.
It emits a powdered aerosol that quickly floods an area up to 5,300 feet in diameter for 35 seconds.
Town of Two Rivers Fire Chief Mark Leichtfuss says that the donation is not only a valuable addition to their equipment but also a meaningful tribute to Bornemann’s unwavering commitment to community service.
He also thanked Masonic Lodge No. 65 for their generosity and support, saying, “This gift will make a real difference in our operations and stands as a lasting reminder of Bob’s dedication.”
