The teenager accused of driving recklessly and killing an individual has entered his plea.
18-year-old Carter Green was before Outagamie County Judge Mitchell Metropulos yesterday for his arraignment, where he pleaded not guilty to charges of 1st Degree Reckless Homicide and two counts of Causing Injury/Operating While Under the Influence.
Green was reported to be behind the wheel of a vehicle that was traveling at speeds of around 130 MPH on October 4th when he collided with another vehicle.
Police arrived at the intersection of North Richmond Street and the I-41 northbound off-ramp to find Green’s vehicle engulfed in flames.
The driver of the second vehicle died from their injuries at the hospital, while Green and two other individuals suffered significant injuries.
Green will be back in court on February 18th for a pre-trial conference.
