Dane County is getting a financial boost to assist victims of gun violence.
Wisconsin’s Byrne Statewide Crisis Intervention Program gave a $100,000 grant to fund a multi-organization partnership whose mission is to provide long-term support to those impacted by gun violence.
The collaborative initiative includes the Dane County Attorney’s Office and Focused Interruption.
The money will help with emergency locations for victims at risk, mental health support, and more.
