An individual was arrested in Manitowoc after a baggie of Meth dropped out of his coat pocket at a gas station.
Manitowoc Police were called to the Kwik Trip on South 10th Street early Tuesday morning after a worker found a baggie of what appeared to be drugs right outside the front door.
A review of the security camera footage showed the employees opening the store at 5:00 a.m., and two people entering at that time.
The vehicle they arrived in had company logo on it, and it was determined the driver had dropped the baggie.
The substance was tested, and it was determined to be Methamphetamine.
The vehicle was located a short time later at Pizza Ranch, and the driver was detained.
He claimed to have recently purchased the coat he was wearing, claiming the baggie may have been in one of the pockets.
However, he changed his story multiple times, first claiming to have bought it at Goodwill, then on Facebook Marketplace, then saying he grabbed it from a pile of garbage bags outside of a residence.
The 53-year-old man was arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and seven counts of Felony Bail Jumping, as he has seven open drug cases.
