The City of Sheboygan is seeking input from the public regarding a major upcoming project.
The City will hold the Harbor Centre Marina Open Community Vision Session on December 18th at Kiwanis Park, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
This meeting will be held in collaboration with Edgewater Resources, the group selected by the City to conduct the planning phase of the overhaul project at the marina.
This event is intended to gather Sheboyganites in order to get community voices involved to shape the shared future of the Marina, which was deemed to be in need of major upgrades by City leaders.
During the November 17th Sheboygan Common Council meeting, Edgewater Resources was unanimously awarded the design contract for the marina after a unanimous recommendation from the City’s Committee of the Whole.
This contract includes architectural design, engineering, and construction administration services for the Harbor Centre Marina and all its associated facilities and is worth $3.29 million.
Those interested in playing a part in the design phase of the project are encouraged to attend the Harbor Centre Marina Open Community Vision Session to have their voice heard.
