Milwaukee’s former city attorney is pleading not guilty to new charges against him.
Tearman Spencer was in court Monday for felonies, accused of an improper property deal.
That deal included acquiring a property for $8,000 then trying to sell it for nearly a quarter of a million dollars.
Spencer allegedly acted as the notary despite losing his license 12 years ago.
The 68-year-old was voted out of office last year after serving just one term as the attorney.
