
A missing Sheboygan man has been found deceased.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the body of 63-year-old Todd Janssen was located at approximately 11:00 a.m. today (December 4th).
At this time, the cause and manner of Janssen’s death remain under investigation; however, authorities have stated that there is no indication of suspicious circumstances.
In their announcement, the Sheriff’s Office said, “We extend our deepest condolences to Mr. Janssen’s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time…We appreciate the public’s interest in this investigation, but ask that you respect the family’s need for privacy.”
They have also shown their appreciation to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, which was instrumental in locating Janssen, as well as all other local agencies and groups that aided in locating him.
Janssen was last seen on Saturday (November 29th), and a Silver Alert was issued the following day.
An extensive and collaborative search effort followed throughout the week until he was ultimately located.
The Sheriff’s Office did not provide any information as to where he was found, and no additional information is planned for release regarding the incident.
