A Wausau man is sentenced to seven years in federal prison for fentanyl trafficking.
Christopher Harter pleaded guilty to possessing 40-grams or more of fentanyl with the intent to distribute.
He was first identified in February as a heroin dealer in the Wausau area.
Investigators found that he traveled to Milwaukee to purchase and sell heroin locally.
Harter’s prison term will be followed by five years of supervised release.
