As 2025 nears its end, the Sheboygan County Food Bank is preparing to launch a new program in the new year.
In early 2026. The Food Bank will roll out its brand-new monthly donor program, the Hunger Relief Society.
To qualify for the new program, all you have to do is sign up to give any amount of money to the Food Bank on a monthly basis.
Members of the Hunger Relief Society will receive special benefits intended to recognize their commitment to helping their neighbors in need.
They will include a one-of-a-kind decal, a year-end donation summary each January for tax purposes, the Food Bank’s annual report before it is shared with the public, and two complimentary registrations to the Holiday Lights Hunger Run/Walk every year.
Those who join the monthly donor program will also have the choice of where their money goes at the Food Bank, with options of the Food for Thought for Kids Program, Food+ for Neighbors, and the general Food Fund.
For those who do not choose a desired use, their money will be used wherever it is needed most.
While the new program is yet to be formally launched, these benefits will be retroactive, meaning anyone who becomes a monthly donor beforehand will still receive them when it begins next year.
