
A Manitowoc woman convicted in a drug overdose death case has been sentenced.
40-year-old Stephanie J. Snyder was before Manitowoc County Judge Anthony Lambrecht yesterday (December 1st), where she was ordered to spend four years in prison followed by two years on extended supervision.
She was also ordered to spend a year and a half in the Manitowoc County Jail under the Huber Law.
She was previously found guilty due to a no-contest plea on charges of Manufacturing or Delivering Amphetamine and Fentanyl, while charges of 1st Degree Reckless Homicide by the Delivery of Drugs and Felony Bail Jumping were dismissed, but read into the record.
Snyder was arrested in connection with the death of a 40-year-old man in 2023. She admitted to supplying drugs to the man, which led to his death.
Snyder has two more open cases where she faces charges of Possession of Narcotic Drugs, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia, Neglecting a Child, and Felony Bail Jumping.
