The Valders Area School District is hosting a fundraiser today (December 1st) to help students looking to gain job skills.
Order forms are due today for the district’s Project Smile Holiday Jar Fundraiser.
It’s a chance for people to stock up on delicious dry mixes for making cookies, brownies, or beer bread.
Those items will cost $12, while the hot cocoa mix will cost $6. Items can be picked up on December 19th.
Money from the event goes toward Valders’s Practical Assessment Exploration System (PAES) Lab, which helps assess a student’s competitive work potential and interest level while exploring various jobs they could pursue.
