Manitowoc residents now have an additional option for infusion therapy.
Froedtert Pharmacy announced that a new specialty infusion suite at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital on Western Avenue in Manitowoc was opened back on November 17th.
The suite offers outpatient infusion therapy (IV therapy) for short- or long-term treatments, including the administration of specialty medications such as IV-IG, iron, and others.
Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital VP Brian Graf says, “This expansion means more patients in the community can get the care they need closer to home. It’s an important step toward making infusion services more convenient and accessible for those we are privileged to serve.”
Hospital staff also say that access at the Manitowoc hospital will reduce the need to travel long distances and offer an alternative for patients who currently receive in-home infusions.
