The holiday season begins tonight in the City of Manitowoc.
The 37th Annual Lakeshore Holiday Parade is set to begin a 6:30 p.m. in Downtown Manitowoc, featuring numerous floats constructed by local businesses, organizations, and non-profits.
The parade will begin at South 14th and Washington Streets, with a sensory-sensitive zone again in effect around that area.
Then, it will head east on Washington before turning north on 8th Street and ending at Park Street. Santa will make his annual appearance as well, meeting with families at the Rahr-West Art Museum before and after the parade.
Also, Visit Manitowoc will be offering hot chocolate, cookies, and a surprise while supplies last at their office in downtown Manitowoc, and the Salvation Army of Manitowoc County will host a Red Kettle kick-off celebration in the Farmers Market parking lot starting at 5:00 p.m.
The entire parade will also be described in detail by Craig Dillon and Zylia Kleinfeldt on 1240 WOMT and at WOMTRadio.com.
