Authorities are investigating a plane crash near Monroe that killed two people.
Officials say the aircraft went down just after 5:00 p.m. yesterday (November 25th) in a gravel quarry north of State Highway 59 and caught fire.
Monroe Rural and Juda Fire Departments responded and put out the blaze, while Green County deputies secured the scene.
The identities of the victims have not been released, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board.
