One person is in custody, and another has been hospitalized following a hit-and-run in Green Bay.
The Green Bay Police Department was called to the 100 block of South Fisk Street on Sunday (November 23rd) at approximately 4:00 p.m. on a report of an SUV striking multiple garages before fleeing the scene.
Upon arrival, officers located a 20-year-old Green Bay man on the floor of one of those garages who sustained significant injuries that came as a result of being struck by the fleeing vehicle.
Authorities also located a firearm in the area, which was later determined to be stolen.
Witness interviews following the incident have led authorities to believe that the stolen firearm was fired in the moments leading up to the hit-and-run during an altercation involving the fleeing driver, the victim, and an unidentified third party who police are now looking to interview.
Hours after the incident, the suspect driver, an 18-year-old Michigan man, was located at a residence in Oneida, and with the help of the Oneida Police Department, Green Bay police were able to take him into custody.
Anyone with information regarding the incident or the unidentified third individual involved in the altercation is asked to contact the Green Bay Police Department at 920-448-3200 and reference case #25-257973.
