An Appleton resident suffered minor injuries during a fire late last week.
The Appleton Fire Department was called to the 60 block of Welcome Circle at around 8:15 Friday evening on a report of a structure fire.
Fire crews arrived to find a duplex on fire, and while they were able to get the fire under control within 10 minutes, one person was injured while evacuating.
The individual was said to have suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but it was said to have caused an estimated $100,000 in damage.
The Appleton Fire Department was aided on the scene by Appleton Police, Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue, and Gold Cross Ambulance.
