With Thanksgiving coming this Thursday (November 27th), Sheboyganites should expect changes to curbside collections this week.
Those living in the City whose trash and recycling are regularly collected Monday through Wednesday will experience no change; however, no collections will be done on Thanksgiving Day, giving the City’s Department of Public Works employees the holiday off.
Instead, Thursday collection sites will be picked on Friday (November 28th), while Friday’s garbage and recycling will be collected on Saturday (November 29th).
Additionally, the DPW is reminding Sheboygan residents that the City’s Residential Recycling Center will be closed on Thanksgiving as well.
The Recycling Center will again resume regular hours on Friday, opening at 8:00 a.m.
