It will be a rather slow Thanksgiving week for local government meetings.
There are only two Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for this week, with the Finance Committee set to meet in the County Administration Office Building at 4:30 Monday evening.
The only other county group slated to gather is the ADRC of the Lakeshore Board, which will be in the Kewaunee County Admin building at 10:00 Tuesday morning.
There are also only two meetings in the City of Manitowoc.
The Library Board will be in the Manitowoc Public Library at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
The following day, the Board of Public Works will convene in Council Chambers at 4:00 p.m.
And in the City of Two Rivers, there are three meetings on the calendar, including the City Council’s work session on Monday in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m.
There are two meetings on Tuesday, with the Police and Fire Commission gathering at 4:00 p.m. and a joint meeting between the Business and Industrial Development Committee and Community Development Authority slated for 5:15 p.m.
