A local state senator is calling the fall session a productive one.
Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu of Oostburg ended the fall session on Tuesday and highlighted several key things that happened.
He noted, “After delivering the second largest income tax cut in state history during the budget, the Senate moved to stop property tax hikes by repealing Governor Evers’ 400-year veto, lower prices at the store by fighting organized retail theft, and reduce healthcare costs by expanding access to cost-effective telehealth services.”
The Senate will next be in session in January.
