Milwaukee Public Schools is planning to expel a charter school from its portfolio and building.
Board members voted yesterday to give Carmen Northwest Middle and High School another year to find a different home and families a chance to make plans before getting the boot.
MPS gave the charter until June 30th, 2027, to do so.
Board members cited underperformance as a reason for the decision.
