A local couple will be joined by Eastern Wisconsin’s representative in Congress for an EpiPen training course.
The Dillon Mueller Memorial Fund, created by Angel and George Mueller of Mishicot, will be hosting a public EpiPen training session on Saturday (November 22nd) at the Feith Family YMCA in Port Washington, and Congressman Glenn Grothman will be in attendance.
Angel and George have been avid proponents for EPI-Pen training since their son Dillon died from an undiagnosed allergic reaction to a bee sting in October of 2014.
The couple have also been the driving force behind the creation and enactment of Dillon’s Law in Wisconsin.
A version of the measure was also introduced by Congressman Grothman in Washington, and he will speak on public awareness and lifesaving training related to Dillon’s Law at the event this weekend.
The free EpiPen training session will run from 10:00 to noon in the Conference Room at the Y located at 465 Northwoods Road in Port Washington.
