The Two Rivers girls’ basketball team opened up their first season under Head Coach Kally Kreuger with a win.
The Raiders took down Cedar Grove-Belgium 60-42 on the road, with Allie Gallagher leading the charge early on.
The sophomore poured in 15 points in the first half to give the Raiders an 8-point lead entering halftime.
Fellow sophomore Isabell Bateman took over in the second half, dropping in 11 points, while the defense tightened up big time.
Two Rivers only allowed six field goals by the Rockets in the second half en route to the 18-point victory.
Gallagher ended the night with 23 points while Bateman netted 13 in the win.
The Raiders don’t have a lot of time to celebrate, as they will be back on the court on Friday when they close out a two-game road trip to start the season in Sturgeon Bay.
