
A discussion on Lake Michigan shipwrecks will be held in Sheboygan County this week.
The Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast Advisory Council will meet on Thursday (November 20th) at 6:00 p.m. inside the Kohler Center for Marsh Education located at W7113 County Road SR in Elkhart Lake.
This week’s meeting will include regular council business as well as an update from Melissa Gutierrez, assistant marketing manager of Visit Sheboygan, and Aaron Brault, the director of Ozaukee County Planning & Parks Department.
NOAA staff will also be on hand to discuss numerous Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary programs, research, and upcoming events.
The public is encouraged to attend Thursday’s meeting, and a public comment period will close out the night at approximately 7:50 p.m.
