A former fast-food manager from the Green Bay area has been convicted of sexually assaulting a child.
Court documents show that 40-year-old Joshua Johnson was present inside a Brown County courtroom yesterday (November 17th) for a plea hearing.
Entering that hearing, Johnson had been charged with Repeated Sexual Assault of Same Child, three counts of Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, two counts of Child Enticement-Sexual Contact, two counts of Causing a Child 13-18 to View Sexual Activity, and one count of False Imprisonment.
However, the state and the 40-year-old’s legal counsel reached a plea deal which saw Johnson convicted of the Repeated Sexual Assault of a Child charge, two of the Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child Charges, and one Child Enticement charge due to a no contest plea.
All other charges were dismissed but read into the record.
In 2023, Johnson was working as the manager of a Culver’s in Suamico, but was fired after a 15-year-old girl reported being kissed multiple times by Johnson in the cooler and bathroom.
Later that same year, he was working as the manager of Freddy’s Steakburgers in Bellevue when he allegedly raped two 15-year-old employees.
One of the victims claims that Johnson would give her rides to work, while the victim’s friend claimed seeing Johnson kissing the victim goodbye.
Another victim claims he offered her a ride to Target, but instead, he brought her to his home and later raped her.
Johnson will return to court on January 16th for a sentencing hearing.
