
The high school basketball season begins this week for several local girls’ teams.
Two Rivers will be hosting Cedar Grove-Belgium tomorrow (November 18th), while Valders is set to host Reedsville the same night.
Then, on Thursday, Manitowoc Lutheran will look to repeat last year’s success as the Lancers begin their season at Lancer Circle against Ozaukee. Meanwhile, Mishicot hosts Southern Door.
On Friday, Kiel is home for Howards Grove, Manitowoc Lincoln is on the road for Arrowhead on Saturday, and Roncalli is at Howards Grove on Tuesday, November 25th.
As for the boys, practice begins this week as teams get ready for next week’s matchups.
Manitowoc Lutheran does have a game this week, hosting Brillion on Friday, while Manitowoc Lincoln is set to open the season at home next Tuesday against Plymouth.
Mishicot will also be in front of a home crowd next Tuesday as they face Sevastopol, the same day Kiel hosts Omro.
Two Rivers won’t have its first boys game until December 1st, when they host Algoma, while Roncalli is set to host Sheboygan Falls on December 2nd.
Valders and Reedsville will start their season the same day, on the road against Kewaunee and Ozaukee, respectively.
