
There are a pair of meetings on the docket for tonight (November 17th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Committee of the Whole will start the evening off at 5:45 p.m. in the Council Chambers, where they will review an agreement with Trimper Gallery and Insurance Gap, and an MPSD resolution to improve transparency in the district’s levies.
They will also enter a closed session to discuss the 2023 settlement regarding the Newton Gravel Pit remediation costs.
Then, at 6:30 p.m., the Common Council will take over the chambers, where they will hold a public hearing regarding the rezoning of a property on Memorial Drive.
The Council will also discuss a request to install a handicap ramp at South 17th and Philippen Streets, an ordinance to regulate bicycles and E-bikes, and another to regulate parking on South 8th Street near Lincoln High School.
