There were two fires in Outagamie County over the weekend.
The first occurred in the 800 block of West Grant Street in Appleton.
The Appleton Fire Department responded to the residence at around noon on Friday to find smoke and flames coming from the rear of the home.
The fire was brought under control within 30 minutes, but not before it caused an estimated $200,000 in damage, and two residents were evaluated for injuries.
One of the residents was also taken to a local hospital for treatment. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Then, at 1:15 Saturday afternoon, a ditch-line near Freedom was reported. FOX11 notes that the fire was in the 2700 block of Brookside Drive and was quickly extinguished.
No injuries were reported in that incident, and the cause was not released.
