The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) has announced the launch of the Talent Recruitment Grant Program.
WEDC calls the program a “new initiative designed to support local efforts to attract new residents to Wisconsin with grants up to $500,000 per project.”
It is backed by a $5 million allocation under the 2025-27 biennial state budget.
The Talent Recruitment Grant Program aims to empower municipalities and nonprofit organizations to develop innovative strategies that encourage individuals and families to relocate to Wisconsin communities.
The program is part of a broader effort to strengthen the state’s workforce, support economic development, and enhance community vitality.
The WEDC will begin accepting applications on January 5th, 2026.
