Authorities are investigating a car crash in Fitchburg that left one person dead.
It happened yesterday morning just north of Lacy Road on US Highway 14 when two cars collided, shutting down traffic on the roadway.
The Fitchburg Fire Department says one person was killed in the crash, while another person had to go to the hospital for their injuries.
Investigators are looking for details of what led up to the crash.
