A former bank official in Green Bay was sentenced in a federal theft case.
FOX11 reports that Amy Reid was sentenced to two years in federal prison and five years of extended supervision for stealing nearly $412,000 from her employer.
Reid was the Senior Vice President and the Director of Purchasing at an unnamed Green Bay-based bank.
She used purchase cards supplied by the bank to certain employees, which were only intended to be used for bank-related purchases, for personal expenses.
Reid would deceive the institution into believing the purchases were legitimate when, in fact, she used the card for flights, hotels, rental cars, residential property taxes, casino gambling, and more.
This went on from May of 2018 to May of 2024, during which Ried used bank funds to pay for $411,923 in personal expenses.
