An extensive road project in Sheboygan County is less than a week away from being completed.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has announced that the resurfacing and box culvert construction on State Highway 32 is scheduled to be finished by Friday (November 14th).
The project, which started on March 31st, stretches 9.9 miles between Cedar Grove and Sheboygan Falls.
Last week, the roadway was completely reopened to traffic while crews completed the handwork striping in Cedar Grove.
This week, crews will be out finishing the installation of pavement markings along the entire project length. While Highway 32 is open to traffic, flagging operations will be utilized this week while pavement markings are performed.
Barring any inclement weather, this will bring an end to the road project that has lasted more than 200 days.
