A Green Bay man is facing charges after an alleged stabbing on Halloween.
Green Bay Police were dispatched to a bar on State Street at 8:45 p.m. on a report of a stabbing.
The responding officers located a victim with multiple deep stab wounds, but he was able to speak with investigators.
He stated that while he was at the bar, 47-year-old Robert Goodletson started yelling at him before attacking him with the knife. Goodletson was detained outside the establishment and was found with a knife.
He allegedly told police they were lucky he hadn’t killed the victim, but also claimed self-defense.
Goodletson was arrested on a charge of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and was given a $250,000 cash bond.
He is due back in court on November 18th for a status conference.
