The City is assuring residents and businesses alike that these emails are indeed a scam and not being sent out by anyone from the Planning and Development Department.
To remain vigilant, the City advises everyone to be suspicious of the demand for money and the urgency with these demands.
If you have never shared an email interaction with the City in the past, verify the email address and avoid clicking on any links contained in the message.
Finally, when in doubt, residents are encouraged to contact the Planning and Development department at 920-459-3379 to verify the status of an application.
