
A Valders volleyball player has been named the EWC Player of the Year.
Megan Hochkammer, a Middle Hitter for the Vikings, took home the honor, while also being one of only two Valders players to make the first team all-conference list.
The other was Makenna Kaderabek, while Roncalli’s Erin Panosh also made the cut.
Sheboygan Falls, who were named Conference Champions, had two players on the first team list, including Abby Beaumont and Kenley Mortenson, while Brillion’s Emma Schuh and Ava Van Camp rounded out the 1st team honorees.
On the 2nd Team All Conference List were Valders’ Anna Olson, Brillion’s Reina Eijtjes, and Maddie Miller, Chilton’s Taylor Bryge, and Kiel’s Mady Gutschow, Liz Neils, and Ava Rothe.
Sheboygan Falls had three players earn honorable mention, including Natalie Nickolai, Elyse Jaekels, and Nora Halverson, as did New Holstein, with Riley Danes, Makenna Bink, and Madelyn Sipple making the cut.
For Roncalli, Gracie Hamann, and Madison Keller were honorable mentions, as were Kiel’s Lillie Brockway, Maddie McDole, and Mya Rothe, Chilton’s Brenna Geiser, as well as Lauren Roerig, and Two Rivers outside hitter Quinn McCinty.
