A group of Starbucks workers in Madison is calling for a fair union contract.
The workers gathered on State Street over the weekend as part of a nationwide rally of baristas for a contract to be completed ahead of the holiday season.
Those in Madison are part of the union Starbucks Workers United, and want better pay, safer working conditions, and job stability.
The unionized stores have said they will vote to strike if a contract agreement can’t be reached.
