Sheboygan County is looking to fill a vacancy on its Board of Supervisors.
County Board Chairman Keith Abler has said that the county is seeking applications for an individual to fill out the remainder of the term of District 3 Representative Kathleen Donovan, who has resigned.
Donovan’s resignation comes after she moved out of the district, leaving her seat on the board open through April of 2026.
The person chosen to fill Donovan’s seat will serve Wards 5 and 6, which are located in the City of Sheboygan.
Candidates interested are required to be a qualified elector and a resident of District 3.
The County Board meets on the third Thursday of every month, and, in addition, each board member is required to serve on one or more of the nine county subcommittees.
Applicants interested in filling the seat are required to send a letter of interest and a brief resume to the attention of Chairman Abler at the Sheboygan County Administration Building, located at 508 New York Avenue, room three.
Applications must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. on November 21st.
