Two people in Madison are facing charges after a fight broke out early Thursday on State Street.
Madison police say officers patrolling the 400 block were alerted to the altercation by a bystander.
Officers intervened and separated the individuals.
However, one reportedly attempted to grab an officer.
Both suspects were taken into custody on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
