A Fox Valley Lutheran High School teacher has been arrested for possession of child pornography.
The Appleton Police Department says the case originated from a tip received through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
During their investigation, James R. Neujahr of Appleton was identified as a suspect.
It was learned that Neujahr was employed as a teacher at Fox Valley Lutheran High School, and the district was notified before taking immediate action to cooperate with investigators.
The private school teacher was taken into custody without incident yesterday morning (October 29th), and there was no evidence to suggest that any children were harmed at the school.
The investigation into Neujahr is still active, with Appleton Police asking anyone with information related to the case to contact them.
