One of Wisconsin’s most wanted fugitives has been captured in Mississippi.
Authorities say 56-year-old Wayne Minor was wanted for allegedly sexually assaulting two women at a Milwaukee cemetery in 2018 and 2020.
In the 2020 incident, investigators say Minor pistol-whipped one victim and later tried to hire another inmate to kill both women.
After demanding a speedy trial, he was released on bond but disappeared.
This prompted a fugitive warrant.
Following several tips, police tracked him down and arrested him in Greenville, Mississippi.
It is said this is where he had been hiding since fleeing in 2023.
