A Sheboygan area high school has teamed up with the American Red Cross to help those in need.
The Student Council of Sheboygan South High School, in collaboration with the Red Cross, has organized a Halloween blood Drive which will be held on Friday (October 31st) from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The blood drive will take place inside Schuman Gym at South High School, located at 1240 Washington Avenue.
Data from the Red Cross shows that, nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every two to three seconds, showing that blood drives like this one are a constant need.
Those looking to give their blood to someone other than a vampire on Halloween are encouraged to sign up online.
A link to schedule an appointment can be found by reading Flock Talk, the weekly Sheboygan South newsletter, which is available on the Sheboygan South High School Facebook page.
