As the seasons turn, changes are on the way at the Manitowoc County Historical Society.
The Historical Society has announced that its winter hours will take effect on Saturday (November 1st), running through November 30th.
During winter hours, the McAllister House Welcome Center and Pinecrest Village grounds will be open Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The historical society will be closed for the entirety of December before resuming winter hours on January 1st, which will remain in place until April 30th.
Those looking to visit while winter hours are in effect are encouraged to call ahead to make sure the facilities are not closed for maintenance or development.
Admission during winter hours will be $5 per person, and those four years or younger will get in for free.
While the season is winding down, the Manitowoc County Historical Society will continue hosting specialty programming and workshops.
