A man charged with robbing an Outagamie County bank has had his bail set.
FOX11 reports that 43-year-old Martin M. Muniz-Lara made his first appearance in court yesterday (October 27th) and received a $300,000 cash bail for the robbery that took place on October 17th at a Premier Community Bank in the Village of Bear Creek.
Muniz-Lara was taken into custody without incident last Wednesday at a home in Oshkosh.
A criminal complaint alleges that the 43-year-old entered the bank, showing a gun and demanding money.
The complaint also claims that he said he had a bomb and, at one point, climbed over a desk to get behind the counter. It was determined that over $9,300 was stolen.
Muniz-Lara will return to court on November 13th for a status conference.
He is officially facing charges of robbery of a financial institution, theft of movable property, and possession of cocaine.
